Michail Petrovich Krajev

Krajev was born August 5, 1957 in Pushkivo, not far from Moscow. Although not having attended any of the elitist art schools, Krajev is proud of successfully selling his paintings in prestigious art galleries in Paris and London and to private collectors in Russian and Europe.

Krajev works as a designer for international art exhibitions. He is interested in Eastern, Greek, and Roman cultures. He has traveled extensively through Spain, Italy, Turkey, and other Mediterranean countries. His paintings are done in the tradition of the Russian Romantic School.

Krajev married in 1979 and currently lives with his wife and son in Pushkivo.
